Athletic Fiesta at GNIPS I Block

GNIPS I Block, BRS -Nagar Ludhiana  celebrated its  21st Annual Athletic Meet Athletic Fiesta 2024 on 6th &7th February 2024 with great enthusiasm and zeal .The Opening day was graced by S.Jasvinder Singh ( Manager) as Chief Guest and Mrs .Gurmant Kaur Gill ( Principal, GNIPS Model Town )  presided over as Guest Of Honour . The Opening Ceremony started with rendition of Shabad followed by Inter House March Past .Four best athletes of the school Rahul,Trishika, Lovekesh and Japjot Singh lit the ceremonial flame .The plethora of events like Ballon Race,Lemon Race, Relay Race ,Three Leg Race, Sack Race , 100 mtrs Race,  Tug of War , needle and thread Race  etc kept the audience enthralled. Another highlight of day was  Teachers  Musical Chair . On 7th February 2024 the Meet ended with spectacular Closing Ceremony. Mrs Abhineet Kaur Sarna presided over the  Closing Ceremony on 7th February 2024 and Mrs.Gurvinder Kaur graced the occasion as Guest Of Honour. The talented athletes were felicitated with several titles and tropies  .Sahibjit Singh was declared the Shining  Star of GNIPS I Block . Rahul  clinched the  " Champion of the Year 2023-24 " trophy and Lovkesh Verma  achieved  " Best Athlete of Annual Athletic Meet" .Trishika won Best Girl Athlete of Annual Athletic Fiesta. Green House was declared  Best March Past for 2023-24 and Yellow House bagged  Overall  Winners Trophy 2023-24.Cultural dance based on Unity In Diversity was the another attraction of Closing Ceremony.  Addressing the gathering,  Principal Mrs.Kamalvir Kaur  applauded the efforts put by staff ,students and Sports Department .She encouraged the students to take part in games as they teach us lesson of discipline, leadership and persistence.  The Athletic Fiesta ended with National  Anthem.
